Photography Release: I/We authorize SAAL to obtain, store, and/or use (without payment) any photographs, slides, and/or video of me/us or my friends attending any SAAL event for public relations or marketing/advertising.

We kindly ask that members limit their purchase to a maximum of five discounted tickets per membership. As a non-profit organization, we subsidize the cost of many event tickets, and this policy helps us maintain accessibility and fairness for all members.

Refund Policy : Non-profit event tickets are typically non-refundable, a policy that becomes especially firm within the final 10 days leading up to the event. This is because your ticket purchase is treated primarily as a donation that directly funds the organization’s mission, rather than a simple commercial transaction. The 10-day window is a critical operational deadline when the non-profit must commit to irreversible expenses by providing final, guaranteed headcounts to caterers, venues, and printers. At this point, the money from your ticket has already been allocated to cover these fixed costs. Refunding your purchase would force the charity to pay for your seat out of its program funds, may directly defeating the event’s purpose. Instead of a refund, most organizations are happy to help you convert your ticket into a fully tax-deductible donation or transfer it to a friend, ensuring your support still makes a valuable impact please let us know.

Liability Waiver: I /We (family) and my/our friends attending any SAAL event hereby release, discharge South Asian Association of Lancaster (SAAL), its affiliated organizations, board members and associated personnel against any and all claims, liabilities, and/or damages as a result of me/us being member of SAAL, including but not limited to, any claim that SAAL was negligent. I/We and my/our friends further agree to defend and indemnify SAAL, its affiliated organizations, board members and associated personnel if any claim is made against them by or on behalf of us. I/We understand that I/we will not be granted membership of SAAL without signing this Agreement. Finally, I/we acknowledge that South Asian Association of Lancaster is a Pennsylvania organization and agree that Pennsylvania law will govern the interpretation and validity of this liability waiver. 

Special Note for Booking of Tickets for Seated event e.g : Diwali : Please ensure that your seat is added to the cart prior to selecting next seat. Otherwise, you will NOT be assigned seat number.
