Governance

The governing body of SAAL is the Executive Committee and Advisory Committee, which has all powers of governing, directing, and overseeing the management of the SAAL organization.

  • Madhuri Reddy : Madhuri is a proud member, volunteer and an executive member of SAAL since it’s formation and currently President. She always looks forward to meet new families and make new friends through all the SAAL gatherings. Madhuri also enjoys engaging the community with all the games, entertainment and cultural activities in our many events throughout the year. She loves to be a part of this family.
  • Manish JhunjhunwalaManish Jhunjhunwala is a founding member of SAAL and ex-president serving on the Advisory and Executive Boards. He was the Treasurer for 5 years and Vice President for 3 years. Manish joined SAAL to serve the community to bring Indian culture to them, specially to the next generation of our members. Manish helps people engage in SAAL’s various social activities, and represent our South Asian community to the broader Lancaster community.
  • Pranav MehtaPranav Mehta is an IT Professional who has been with SAAL since it’s inception. He started as a volunteer, working on the SAAL logo and website/e-mail and other IT related stuff; and later became an executive member. Pranav enjoys helping folks via technology which makes our community stronger. He is in charge of our website/e-mails/membership/ticket sales etc.

  • Neeta DedhiaNeeta Dedhia has a Masters in Public Administration with a major in non-profit management. She has worked with the American Red Cross and was the Program Coordinator at the Inner Resilience Program. Currently, Neeta is a volunteer at the Lancaster General Health Foundation and Development office. She would like to contribute her time and services to the Indian community through SAAL.
  • Chhaya ShahChhaya Shah works in the pharmaceutical industry and loves to bring the Indian community together. She grew up in Lancaster and mentors young women through the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. Chhaya’s father along with a few friends had started the Hari Temple in Harrisburg, PA for the Indian community. Chhaya is hoping to continue the tradition by contributing her efforts through SAAL.
